In the last season Hull City 4-3 lost at Old Trafford. It was a great game where United won three points but Hull won hearts with their enthusiastic performance. Hull boss Phil Brown believes that his side can shock United at Old Trafford. Last time when Hull visited Manchester they drew with Manchester City in November. Manchester United retained their second position in EPL by winning their game against Hull City at Kingston Comms Stadium.

Rooney gave United lead just before half time, otherwise the first half was looking goal less with some great saves from both goal keepers. Rooney fired a cross from Fletcher to find the Hull's net. In the second half Hull came level after getting a penalty. Then Rooney again helped his team to take lead when Dawson scored an own goal. In fact it was Rooney's effort that caused the goal. Berbatov scored from an assist from Rooney to seal the game with less than 10 minutes left in full time.
