Fiorentina ended at top of the group by defeating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League. Benayoun scored just two minutes before half time to give home team 1-0 lead. New signing Aquilani made his first start and showed some good display.In the second half Fiorentina scored twice (including one in the injury time) to win the game and finished their group as winners.
